The world of post-16 education is changing
We want Oldham’s young people to be ‘ahead of the curve’ in understanding the opportunities that the post-16 reforms will give them.
In the future all Careers Education, Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) will be based around the new Occupational Maps, which describe the routes into skilled employment.
Designed by modern day employers these 15 Occupational Maps demonstrate the wealth of career opportunities now available, many of which have job titles unheard of until recently.
They help employers and individuals to understand routes for progression and how occupations at different levels link together
