An Information Systems (IS) Business Analyst is an advisory role that provides a critical layer of challenge and scrutiny for organisations looking to improve or implement new ICT systems.
You’ll take the lead in delivering successful change with an organisation, but change doesn’t come without its risk, so you’ll really need to do your homework first.
You’ll have to carry out significant investigations and analysis to determine the inner workings of an organisation, identify and understand any issues and challenges it may face and then ensure that the right ICT solution is chosen.
It’s a multi-faceted role and you’ll have to investigate business situations, identify and evaluate options for improvement, and define the features required by organisations.
